    Default Which children's vitamins

Hi, wondering which children's vitamins you all use. My ped has always had me give DS infant vitamins b/c I am BFing and she believes he may not be getting enough vitamin D (that is in cow's milk). I was disappointed to see all the children's chewables at Target had like 50% RDA for vitamin D. That's prob the only vitamin I would worry about with him (we also live in a climate with little sun in the winter). Now that he has outgrown his milk allergy, I can prob do the chewables (most hard chewables have milk). He still does have egg/peanut allergies. What do you alll use and are you happy with them? TIA!

We are nowhere near the chewable vitamin stage since DS is only 6 mos., but it is standard up here (little sun as well) to give infant vitamin D drops. You can either drop them directly into the child's mouth (like Tempra or Tylenol) or put it in their bottle (if they take one). I don't know if this is something you can get readily in the US, but I'd ask your pharmacist.

You might want to look into "Just D" from sunlight vitamins.
