Default Which Britax should I buy?

I have last year's Baby Bargains book (my son is 6 months old and almost 19 lbs) and don't want to buy it again just to find out which Britax(s) are currently most recommended. Can someone fill me in? I want to get one this week while the sale is going on.
I THINK I'm trying to decide between the Boulevard and the Roundabout...

Would appreciate any information about what the book recommends and/or what you all think via experience.

Unless you have a really, really small car, I'd skip the Roundabout. It won't last you nearly as long rear OR forward facing. It's a great seat, but I'd go for the longevity of one of the larger seats.

I've got an SUV so size isn't really an issue. Thanks!

    Marathon

I just like it better than the Boulevard (top slot's a bit taller, will last longer...cuter fabric choices...) BV's nice...you can't go wrong with it! but I think the Marathon is divine, lol.

I would skip the roundabout too. GO for the Marathon.. Here are the differences between the 2.. you will get more use out of Marathon. That is what I did skipped Roundabout and went straight to Marathon. We have Regents now but still have Marathon as extra seat and for traveling.. My DD is 4.5 yo, 40 lbs and 42 inches tall and still fits in Marathon.

    Info directly from Britax website:

    www.britaxusa.com

    ROUNDABOUT:

    Rear Facing 5 lbs. - 35 lbs. up to 40'' sitted shoulder height 10.5'' - 15''
    Forward Facing 20 lbs. - 40 lbs. up to 40" sitted shoulder height 12'' - 15''

    MARATHON:

    Rear Facing 5 lbs. - 35 lbs. up to 49'' sitted shoulder height 9.5'' - 16''
    Forward Facing 20 lbs. - 65 lbs. up to 49" sitted shoudler height 12'' - 16''

My girlfriend has a Marathon for DD1 and Boulevard for DD2.. She doesn't like Boulevard at all and wishes she would have got Marathon for DD2 as well.

Thank you guys so much. Unless anyone else has something to add, it looks like the Marathon is the winner!

Are there any accessories or anything else you recommend to go along with this transition?

We love our Boulevard. Moved our DD to it when she was 6 months and just bought one for our DS (5 months). Never tried the Marathon but here are some reasons I went with the Boulevard:
    Infant cushions for smaller children
Headrest/shoulder straps can be adjusted without removing the seat
TSIP - great for napping and just made me feel better

You can't go wrong with either seat. Good luck.
