Default for those who bought IKEA beds for DC

Since space is limited, I wanted to get something with a trundle (pull out bed) so when my parents come to visit, i can sleep in dd's room vs the couch. As much as I love to get other brands, it's just not in the budget. Does anyone have the ODDA system?

Which mattress did you get? How does your dc like it? I need for everyday and for the guest bed. DD sleeps on her back or side. DD has a very firm crib mattress now(dd is sleeping in her crib with sides removed) and complains that it is too hard. lol. i have a firm with pillow top which dd loves.

    TIA!

DS has a similar model (the one you posted is new) - we have the trundle for it (but I haven't put it together yet) - for the price, it is a good piece of furniture.

I just have a regular mattress on the bed (no box spring) - it has the wood slats.

DS likes his bed - no complaints. every once in a while someone will hit the corner - but no other problems

My DD's mattress is the HOGBO. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it is, even before adding a mattress topper.

Since one just does not simply walk into Mordor, I say we form a conga line and dance our way in.
Excuse me, are you in a play?
