    Default Disney help please

The previous Character-dining thread made me realize that I have not begun to put any thought/planning towards our first trip to WDW scheduled for this July. We are going for three days and will be staying at the Ritz b/c of a conference.

    Couple of questions, Please.

    1. Will my Valco RA jogger be too big to travel with (get through crowds, on/off shuttle buses, monorail). I will be renting a car to drive to the park b/c there is no shuttle service to WDW offered by hotel and the Town Car is $40 EACH WAY. I do have a maclaren umbrella stroller, but thought the jogger would be more comfortable for DS and have a rain-jacket to cover it for the summer rain and the basket is roomier.

    2. Any experience with WDW with a peanut-allergic child?

    3. Are the character-meals only offered at the resort hotels or are there restaurants within the magic kingdom that offer these dining experiences?

    4. What would be good websites for planning the logistics of WDW stays?

    5 Any helpful pointers?

    Thanks,
    Michelle

I always use a Zooper Swing or a Mac Triumph (love, love, love). DD has never complained about comfort in them. I wouldn't want to fold and carry the Valco on parking trams or busses, but YMMV.

    Check this link:

Other links at the same site post (mostly) current menus for all restaurants.

Cindrella's in the Castle offers princess dining, but is generally booked solid
    The Crystal Palace has Winnie-the-Pooh
Minnie appears at the Liberty Tree Tavern
Also, a short monorail ride can take you to Character meals at the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, or Contrmporary Resorts.

    4. What would be good websites for planning the logistics of WDW stays?

Use Fastpass, drink lots, rest often, plan to take it slow and come back again. It is designed specifically to be impossible to do it all in one trip. Enjoy yourself.
