    You aren't alone. It drives me crazy with my Volo. At one point I even tied the straps together in a knot behind the seat. I would love to know how to tighten them correctly!

    I've had the same issue with Volos - the straps are still on the loose side for my 2.5 year old! One sort-of solution I found was to pull the straps from the back of the stroller to take up the slack, and then secure them together with something to keep them from sliding back - I think I used either a big binder clip or one of those plastic Ikea clips that's used for keeping food fresh (those tend to be the items I reach for when I'm feeling MacGyver-ish). I think I did this with both the shoulder and the waist straps, although I don't have the stroller in front of me right now to verify whether the waist straps can be pulled like that. It worked pretty well, but probably not a manufacturer-recommended solution.
