Default ISO Kumon-like downloads for free or low cost

The other day I was at the Target looking for a coloring book for Dora. And I picked up a small book called "Let's Cut Paper!" by Kumon. It's pretty awesome. Each page has a picture with grey bars, and a dotted line in the middle of the bars, where the child is supposed to cut. It starts with something easy, like animal whiskers, then goes to something that cuts the whole page in half. Then slant cuts, then curved cuts. Dora is loving it, and ends up doing several pages at a time.

The only trouble is that it's expensive! The book was $6 and there are only 39 pictures!. I saved as many as I could and had Dh xerox them at work. But I'd like to find more similar things I can download. Dh suggested making my own, but I don't have the energy or creativity.

On the back cover is a list of all the other books in this series, and one says "My First Book of Tracing." I would love to find something like that. It doesn't have to be letters. I'd like to start out slow and just have her trace lines, shapes, squiggles. If it's letters, they'd have to be big. Dora is not really holding a pencil correctly yet (something else we need to work on).

    Any resources available?

Just have a quick minute as I'm getting dinner ready at the same time, but there is a series from Brighter Child that has workbooks like the Kumon ones.

    Here's one in the series.
    http://www.amazon.com/Big-Skills-Lit...3699911&sr=8-2

There's also ones for tracing, pasting, folding, coloring, and cutting.

They're pricier than Kumon, but also much thicker. I picked up several at Costco for $7.x each this past summer but I have not seen them there recently.

Looking forward to hearing other suggestions. DS1 loved all the Kumon workbooks so I'll probably be buying a lot of the same ones for DS2 as he's ready for them.

They had these at Sam's Club at one point for $7-ish as well - I keep looking for more but no luck recently.

Have you tried starfall.com? They have larger letter worksheets to trace for free that you could print out.

Kumon books are usually four for three at amazon. Haven't seen any good downloads myself.
