Default How to Baby Proof a GFCI Outlet

My husband installed sliding outlet covers on all outlets except the GFCI ones in the bathrooms and kitchen. Since these are raised up, he said the sliding covers wouldn't work.

What could we use to babyproof the GFCI outlets? I've read that plug in covers don't work.

    Thanks.

We tried a couple different sliders on our GFI outlets and none worked, so we just used the standard plug in covers if they were within DCs reach.

Nothing is 100% child proof, so slider covers aren't necessarily any more or less safe than the plug in covers anyway. In fact, a couple of the slider covers we have would be easier to manuver little toys into than the plug covers are to remove. (Some of the plug covers DH and I can barely even get off ourselves! )
