Ikea Toddler bedding

When does Ikea change their current stock for new styles? Does it go by season? Random? I am looking for a bedding set for a toddler bed, and the sets they have now are rather pale and light colored. I'm hoping to get something a bit more to my liking and am willing to wait a bit if I know how long that wait might be.

Oooh, I have to go look, because the last time I was in everything was super bright IMO, and I was hoping for something more calming.

ETA: the Barnslig is the bright one I was thinking of. I like the ones with the little cars and drawings. I've been thinking I'll get a set in red and blue. I'm not sure when they change, though. I thought it was annually but I noticed a few new options in the line with the little cars (it was yellow)...

I'm referring to crib size bedding. They have 2-3 very bright ones, but not to my liking. They're garish.

Ah, yes, they are pretty bright, I agree. Kind of weird that they don't have anything in the cuter stuff in the smaller size...Maybe the thought is that you'd be moving to a toddler/extending to twin bed of theirs? Our DD is in her converted crib, so I was looking at the IKEA stuff for when we have to move her to a twin bed.

I'm also disappointed with the choices this year. I was really hoping for something I love, but I almost feel like I'm settling on the one I dislike the least

I bought a matching fabric lampshade and will be taking the fabric from the lampshade (red, with pom poms etc...) and putting it over the white area where the two mice are. I hope it's going to spruce up the set. It's still a LOT cheaper than any other bedding set I found online that's bright enough, but not overly.
