Default How do you wash your sweaters, de-pill etc

I've just finished putting our sweaters away - etiher wool or cahsmere or some sort of blend.

How do you get rid of the pills.
    I've seen this comb http://www.us.purecollection.com/pro...omb_MS-905.htm

    or the sweater stone http://www.sweaterstone.com/thestone.htm

I've also heard of using a disposable razor.

What wool wash do you use? I had some left form Monkey Sud from DS's wool covers and I like that you don't have to rinse it, one less step when doing 14 sweaters by hand.

I roll in a towel and also briefly put the wet sweater in the washing machine on the spin cycle for a couple of minutes to help get out excess water. Then lay flat to dry on a towel....

How do you store them? I put them all in a rubbermaid bin with some cedar balls, and the bin goes on the top shelf of the closet.

Any advice appreciated...I love wearing sweaters but the washng process is a bit of a PITA.

Don't know if this will help, but here goes:

I just use a disposable razor - but you have to be reeeallllyyy careful not to cut the fibers, kwim?

I always wash sweaters in a hand wash with a mild detergent - and only a little of that - if absolutely necessary. Otherwise, I spot clean and hang outside to freshen (yes, even in winter).

Because we live in the frozen North, and camp at least twice a month, we keep our sweaters available all year long. We use lavender, cedar, and closet moth-traps to keep the moths from eating our stash.
