Carrying around the house?

What do you all use to carry baby around the house? I have an ergo which I like for outings, but it's not so comfy to sit in...I think I need the extender (which I just learned about). So I'm wondering if I will be good with getting the extender or if I should get something else..like a sling...

Your baby is still young enough that you can wear a sling with ease, so that's an option. Or you might consider a wrap like the moby.

DD is 9 months and 22 pounds so I use the beco butterfly 2. I don't really wear it around the house unless she's really clingy b/c putting the beco is a pain. I just bought an O&A, which doesn't have a chest clip, so I think I might use that now for ease of use.

When she was little, I wore DD in the Beco. Now that she's bigger and wanting to see the world, I wear her in a hip carry in a pouch.

I used the Ergo in the house.

We used a ring sling and DD looooved it. Almost too much. But it made life easier. To this day some of my favorite infant pics of DD are of her fast asleep in the Maya wrap sling held by my DH writing on his laptop.

With DD2 I used a mei tai mostly, as she felt most secure in that. I did use a pouch and ring sling some too. And now that she's big enough I've been using my Action Baby Carrier SCC, much easier/faster to put on with the buckles!

I love my Kangaroo Korner Adjustable Pouch for around the house. I got mine from Carry Me Away www.carrymeaway.com and they also have Maya Wrap and Mobys.
