Question Halloween: Decorating a Wagon

    Hi Folks.

Here is another Halloween themed inquiry.

DD just started walking and I figure instead of bringing the stroller, which she's been fighting here and there, I'd bring her wagon with her to store jackets and put her in if/when she gets tired.

I thought it might be a good idea to decorate her wagon and maybe even have a theme related to her costume. As if I had time for this but I digress.

Any suggestions for themes for her costume and wagon? We're steering away from 'characters' or 'frilly girly things' as for now.

We'd love suggestions from the many talented parents here.

    Thanks in advance.

Last Halloween, one of DD's friends' dad made the most amazing pirate ship out of their double stroller (could be easily done with single stroller or wagon). He made masts out of old sheets, painted on pirate flags, and made a cardboard rim around the side of the stroller painted like a ship. The kids were pirates (and dad too). Adorable! But looked like a lot of work...

PS Here's an Etsy seller who makes adorable Halloween stroller covers: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php...ng_id=30722056

The price includes the kid's costume. There are some other designs you can get without the costume.

Oh my gosh, that is super cute.

    Thanks for the etsy site.

And the pirate ship sounds very cute but above my talent and time.

At our zoo's Halloween thing, we saw a baby dressed as a penguin, with the wagon like a giant iceberg - really, really cute.

We've decorated our wagon as the 100 Acre Wood, a pirate ship and as a circus tent. The two latter were pretty time consuming. The 100 Acre Wood wasn't too bad. Let me see if I can find pics:

    Wow those are advanced wagons!

I just took a piece of halloween themed fleece (mine was black and had "boo" written all over it) and draped it over the entire wagon and DD sat on pillows and the fleece covered the sides.

Lisa, as soon as I saw this post, your circus tent immediately came to mind. I don't think I had ever seen the other 2. All of them are simply amazing! Seriously, you rock!

ETA: The Etsy ones are really cute too!
