I saw these in person this weekend and I think they look pretty cool. My DS will be 5 in February. Is he already too old to get much play time out of these?

Out of all my boys (6yo, 4yo and 24months), it's my youngest one who plays with ours. Gator is 6yo and never plays with them. Cha Cha is 4yo and played with them for a couple of weeks when we first got them. But it's really only Greenbean (the 24mo) who plays with them anymore. We have 4 of the cars (received as gifts) and the fact that we have more and the parts can be mixed and matched still doesn't seem to intrigue the older boys at all. Greenbean loves them, though, and plays with them all the time.
