Default How should I price this for Craigslist?

I've never listed anything on Craigslist before, and I have no idea how to price things. We have a brand new microwave to sell. It came with the house, but we bought our own appliances.

    Retails for $300.

Are there any similar listings on your Craigslist? My usual goal is to get rid of the item as fast as possible, not to maximize my profit, so I try to list a bit lower than what seems to be the going rate on CL. If there's nothing similar to compare to, I'd start at a 1/3 off what it is currently selling for new. (Used stuff I start no higher than 1/2 off, but this is new in box. . . .)

Thanks. That's about what I figured, but I wasn't sure. I listed something else today, and got about a zillion offers already, so I think I went to low on that and didn't want to make the same mistake.

If you google the name of your item with "craigslist" you can almost always find some listings. 1/3 sounds like a good starting point for that item, like pp said.
