Default any good easter basket ideas? etsy?

looking to start shopping for easter basket misc. for both boys.

around here, many people use a mini llbean tote instead of the basket with the child's name and then put it away from year to year.

looking for a couple of small moderately priced toys instead of many junky trinkets that were $1 or less.

would love to go to esty for some stuff, but have been looking with no luck.

On blackberry so I can't link, but I ordered some finger puppets and egglets (knitted eggs) for my DD's basket. The seller/store is Weeknit. She received the princess finger puppets from Santa in her stocking and they were her favorite item out of everything.

I like Legos, play-doh, etc. For baskets. Maybe trains or Chubby cars. PBK had some great ideas (you can probably find them cheaper elsewhere...):

Also how bout some board books, soft toys, etc. I dont think it has to be easter themed necessarily. Just some fun toys that your DSs will enjoy. You could go with a spring theme put biter biscuits in your younger DS's basket and healthy organic lolli pops in your older DSs.

    Hope this helps!

DS1 will get a Lego set.

DD will get a Princess Tiana plush doll and the Princess and the Frog DVD. She loves the other plush dolls we have.

    DS2 - no clue yet.

I like to give one bigger thing and a couple small things. We skip candy as they get it elsewhere.

So far I have a chocolate bunny (See's) for each DC, buzzlight year pjs for ds and some schleich animals (a farm baby set). I'm thinking of getting DS a puzzle or board game and maybe a book for DD and thats it. I don't like a lot of junk that ends up getting recycled in a couple weeks.

Books, Silly Putty (family fave, it's in an egg), stickers, stampers, crayons/craft items... Michael's and Target have some good, small items in their doller and cheapy sections that are pleasers with my nieces.

I ordered my girls capes from superflykidz on etsy. They are also getting PillowPet knock-offs. I am also thinking Zingo for my 3 year old and PJ's for my 1 year old. Then beach toys and bubble type stuff... (They usually just get books, a bunny, and 1 toy but I've been on a shopping ban and they are getting all the stuff I've wanted to get them for months!)
