Yes it's fun, yes I loved doing it as a kid, yes I feel guilty.

But none of us would eat a hard boiled egg. It would be a total waste! I feel bad, but can't handle tossing a dozen eggs.

I know... I'm terrible.

Deviled eggs! Egg salad! Such wonderful things! Blasphemy not to eat them!

We dye them. They last a long time hardboiled and we'll eventually eat them. Or, I'll make a tray of deviled eggs, invite my BIL over, and they'll be gone in 10 minutes.

We won't! DS is allergic to eggs and we'll be painting some wooden eggs this year.

We don't do it here either, and I love eggs. I just can't tolerate the mess.

We are Veg. so it is a really way way to get protein. I only eat the egg whites, if the dogs are lucky (and later we are unlucky with their stinky dog farts) they get the yolk. DD LOVES them with pepper!

We might do one or two just to let DD experience what we did as kids, but we HATE hard-boiled eggs here as well. Blech. Also hate wasting, so a couple is about as many as we'd be willing to let go to waste.

I really like the wooden egg idea. How much are those thingys and what kind of paint do you use?

We love eggs around here, but frankly it hadn't occurred to me to dye them. Because it sounded kind of messy and the idea of messy dyes kind of freaks me out.

On the fence here. Two years ago we ate one of the dozen we dyed. But DD and I enjoy doing the dying.
