    Question Yoga for 4 yo?

DD's neurologist recommended yoga (along with PT) for her, so I'm looking for a yoga DVD I can do @ home with my 4 y.o. I have a 14 m.o. who might crawl around and might "participate" as he gets older. No $ for taking a class or buying a Wii. I'm not an experienced yogi nor am I a read-exercises-in-a-book-and-figure-them-out-on-my-own kind of person either. Any DVD recommendations would be appreciated, TIA!

There are tons of Yoga DVDs on Netflix that can be streamed. That way you can try them instead of buying. Also, the library might have some.

It's not a DVD, but my son's autism class does "Yogarilla" with the OT every week. The kids really enjoy it. The program was designed by an OT and an SLP to help with fine and gross motor. sensory processing, attention, communication, and cognition.

Have you checked to see if your insurance covers yoga classes? If they are prescribed by a doctor some insurances (Aetna for example) will cover some/all of the cost. Yogajournal.com is a great resource. http://www.yogajournal.com/lifestyle..._and_parenting
