    Default Oh Good Gosh, I'm a Diamond.

    I can't believe how many posts I've made to get me here, but apparently, this is post #5010. I don't know whether I think this is cool or scary. Or both?

    So, while I'm feeling

    I'm also feeling kind of like I sure do talk alot :

    Don't know what I would have done without you all for the last five years (more with lurking). Well, I could have done without a few of those months, but ...

    Some memorable things I've learned from all of you that have been burned into my psyche forever for varying reasons are:

    * Balloons and hot dogs and grapes really are serious choking hazards
    * It's ok to have a few things in the crib as time goes by
    * Carseat support -- I'd be NOWHERE without you guys. No. Where.
    * I have fans of funky weird stuff polls
    * Asthma sucks, and the support here with other asthma moms has been critical for me
    * There are evil, slimey, and scary people in cyberspace
    * I'm crunchier than I thought --> Benefits of organics / evils of HFCS & Hydrogenated oils
    * I'm less anti-TV than I thought
    * The jury will always be out on whether or not men and women can ever really be freinds.
    * Sitting vs. squatting and women who are pigs
    * Hairy armpit integrity.
    * Haba, Moolka, and all kinds of resources for toys not made in China
    * Need I mention being constantly needy in the What's Cookin' forum?
    * I cannot wear cropped jeans in December no matter how desperate I am.
    * Freebirthing, the Duggars, and John & Kate
    * If you have a Harley Davidson tshirt, check it for your uncle's ashes before you wash. I'll never forget this!
    * ETA --> Wait, I forgot about the acronyms! The unholy amount of acronyms I use on a daily basis that I let slip in real life.
    * ETA --> I can't believe I forgot: BBB'ers are very generous BBB Bracelet-wearing-breast cancer awareifiers! All of whom are awesome!

    Thanks for these great years on a great board that I truly believe is the best parenting message board out there PERIOD.

    We are lucky to have you!

    And this is embarrasing, but I just realized I am over 5,000 posts too and have not been here as long as you.

    Here's to many more Fairy posts and fun polls!

    Well, of course you're a diamond! But we knew that already.

    It wouldn't be the same here without you!

    Aw, I seriously heart you lady! You're hands-down one of the best things about this board.

    The biggest mistake I made is the one that most of us make...I did not live in the moment enough. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less. - Anna Quindlen

    No doubt. You are a diamond, Fairy, no matter how many posts you have.
