Just like me!
I just had to share this:
I recently bought Temple Grandin's book "The Way I See It: A Personal Look at Autism and Asperger's"
DS found the book on the table and looked though it a little bit. Then he brought the book to me and said, "Temple Grandin Ph.D. has autism. Just like me! She wrote a book!" When I told him that she has written a lot of books and he got a big smile on his face.
I don't know if he heard about Dr. Grandin at one of the autism events we've attended, at school, or if he saw that in the book. But I am so happy for him to realize that people with autism can write books and do many other wonderful things.
