Any ideas appreciated. The party theme is princesses, which is the only thing I have to go on as far as interests this girl has. However she doesn't strike me as super-girly.
Thanks!

Sticky mosaics in the princess pattern would be fun. That's my go-to 7-year-old prezzie and it's been a hit.
The book The Princess Diaries? Or the movie?
Also a book of classic fairy tales. I know fairy tales are controversial for some people, but if she's doing a princess theme, a book of princess stories seems to make sense (i.e. the family is okay with that theme). I LOVED reading my mom's book of fairy tales as a child. And as an adult. I still have it, though it is disintegrating (literally) now.

My 7 year old niece is all about arts and crafts now. I got her a kit recently called Illustory where she can make her own story up, draw the pictures and mail it off and they'll send her a real bound book with her story and drawings. A MAJOR hit.![]()
