Anyone have one? We just inherited one. My husband is very excited but I've never used a grill with charcoal and certainly have never smoked anything. I need to find the manual to our particular one but was wondering if anyone had one, how they liked it, any tips or tricks and any recipes?

We have orchards near our city, so he is able to pick up free applewood and cherrywood branches by talking to the growers in the spring, and then going back when they are pruning. I see people advertising free fruit woods for smoking on CL pretty often here, so you could check there for wood. I know my dad recently got a cookbook that is (I think) all about smoking meats and fish. I can get the title if you'd like.
