Default Any recs for Anywhere chair or similar??

I love the Anywhere Chair by Pottery Barn for my daughter, she is 13 months and is starting to like to sit on my husbands gaming chair LOL...so I wanted to get her her own chair.

My husband can't comprehend spending $80 at Pottery Barn for the chair, then having to buy a slipcover, so any recs on a cheaper one or a good knock off?

I also saw some chair inserts on ebay if u search Anywhere chair, there is someone selling them for $39. Do u think these are good?

    Thanks for any help!!

I know people love their Anywhere chairs, but for us that didn't make sense right now.

We got the toy story version of this chair with a 20% off code at our local TRU:

DS is quite happy with it. The cover is soft and washable. It is certainly smaller than the more expensive chairs, but DS fits in it quite comfortably and enjoys moving it around the apartment. At times, he does push it over and crawl over it, but that just adds to the fun. We're not a huge fan of the branding on it, since we try to keep that stuff to a minimum (DS has no idea what Toy Story even is), but it is bright and colorful.

FYI, PBK has several size of the Anywhere Chair, including the regular one, and the "My First" Anywhere Chair which is a bit smaller, cheaper, and geared more for toddlers/preschoolers. The "My First" chair is cheaper ($50 for insert, $29-$39 for slipcovers). also, if you order online you can get free embroidered personalization. Personally, i'd rather get that over a knockoff on ebay.

I have the My First Anywhere Chair and it's still pretty decently big so it should last a decent amount of time..it's still wide enough for my 5- & 7-year-old nephews to sit in it (which they often do ). and i like how the anywhere chairs are so light and they have a handle on the top to easily move it from room to room.

I love our Garnet Hill one (we actually have two). It's similar to the PB one, but much bigger. It has an overstuffed look. Most importantly, it's not tippy. I have three boys that climb all over them and they are way more sturdy. GH is owned by the PB family. The difference - you can find GH coupons online.

We have a small chair from Ikea that my kids really like, its denim and looks like a horse shoe chair but I don't think they have it any longer. I did see a couple on their website that you might like.

I was looking for one of these a while back, and though I didn't end up getting one, I did also see some at Target and BabiesRUs that are cheaper, and they have tons of styles & color choices available on BRU's website. Plus, again, you should be able to use one of their coupons.

Do you live near a PBK outlet? I was at the one in Leesburg, VA recently and they had a couple of chairs that were about $65 for both insert and cover. Personally, I would rather have the PBK one -- I think it will last a long time and that you would get a good deal of use out of it before DC got too big (especially since she's loving the gaming chair LOL).
