Some items now say "free returns" in the same line where it says re: FS/Prime. The description sounds like it would work similar to Shoebuy - prepaid return shipping. I might be tempted to try out some things I otherwise would not if this option works well.

I don't think you need Prime but it does only work on products where it is explicitly stated that they qualify. Here is how it is supposed to work:


To receive Free Returns on your eligible product(s):
1. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, return the new qualifying eligible product(s) for a full refund in accordance with our returns policy located at www.amazon.com/help/returns.
2. Just visit our online Returns Center at www.amazon.com/returns and we will guide you through the process and even supply you with a prepaid return mailing label you can print out.
3. Amazon will process your return and issue a full refund with no deduction for shipping after receiving your return of the new qualifying eligible product(s).
