My dd is starting a school in the fall that requires a uniform. For shoes all they say on the website is closed toe. Can someone tell me some examples of shoes that work with a school uniform? I am thinking of calling the school and asking about it, but I don't want to call in with such a small question. My dd will be doing a summer program at the school so we need the shoes for July. Otherwise I would wait until August to figure this out.

Keens and Merrell Jungle Mocs are very popular at ds1's school w/ the uniform. Any mary janes would work too.
eta- does the parent organization have a website, message board or a contact? I know as a PTA type rep I would be happy to field emails like that.
