    Default Sunshades?

Now that my DS is in his convertible and doesn't have a canopy, I'm looking for ways to block the sun from his eyes in the car. I know they make aftermarket carseat canopies, but they all seem to have terrible reviews. I don't have tinted windows in my Subaru, and the windows are large and let a lot of light in.

I know a lot people have gotten their windows tinted in this situation. I don't think it costs a ton and it's better than having a sunshade that could come off and hit your LO. I have seen the sunshades that are literally pieces of plastic that you stick on your windows. Not pretty, but it also works.

Yeah, I want to get the windows tinted, but I have to put it off for a while. Its $300, and I really can't spend the $ right now. So I'm looking for cheap alternatives in the meantime.

We had decent luck with the cling on Eddie Bauer tint shade thingies. They never peeled or came off on their own, never did any damage and removed easilly. I've seen some that look horrible on (bubbles etc) but ours looked fine. My new car has built in sun shades that pull up over the window from inside the door. Awesome idea.
