I am not sure how to do this- in our house, we don't have a good system for keeping track of towels. Meaning, I'll take a clean one, use it for a shower, hang it up to dry, and then someone else will come along and use it. I would prefer that everyone has their own towel to use, which I'm guessing is the norm in most homes!. Right now, all of our towels are the same, which makes it hard to keep track.
Does everyone in the family have a different color towel? Or do you have them monogramed to be able to differentiate?

We each have a designated spot to hang our towels. It's never been an issue.

We each have our own towel rack for drying/hanging towels but my SIL who has 5 kids chose to monogram her towels (white towels) with a single initial for each of her DC in a thread color which coordinates with her bathrooms. They look really good!

The kids each have a couple of their own hooded towels, but dh and I just grab whichever towel on the rack is dry for ourselves. It has never bothered me.

I can't remember if all the towels are the same...so with my boys DS #1 is always a blue towel....and DS #2 is green.
