Cybex Topaz for $85 on Overstock - Grandma stroller?

I saw that the Cybex Topaz is on sale at Overstock for $85. Does anyone have experience with this stroller? Do you know if it would be a good option for my mom to use with our baby? She'll start watching him a couple days a week when he's about 3 months old. I foresee walks around the neighborhood (nice sidewalks) and maybe trips to the mall and zoo.

Wow. It's $5 cheaper then yesterday and almost $40 cheaper then when I bought it off mamabargains a few months back. Guess I should have waited.

Anyway I think it would be a perfect stroller for what you are describing. It reclines deep enough for a 3 month old. Its nice and padded so he should be plenty comfy too.

Now the more important question.. what color would you get? I let my husband pick the color and he chose indigo. It's basically a black stroller with indigo accents. I like it, its a nice looking stroller but I usually don't buy black strollers but this one has more color then the typical black stroller.

Well, that would be up to her. I LOVE the Indigo, but my mom doesn't like blue. I'm guessing she'd like either the Slate or the Chili. Would the purple one be too girly?

I'm glad you say it reclines enough for a 3 month old. It says "suitable from birth" but everyone has different ideas about what that means...

The recline isn't completely flat so I it's perfect for 3 month olds not newborns IMHO. My favorite colors were purple and chili, I personally think it looks like a unisex purple to me but its pretty subjective.
