HELP: Hanna Andersson Questions

I'm considering purchasing some dresses for my Princess, but want to get your opinion. They show this dress with the dot tights in the blue version and it looks like it "works" but I just don't think it will look good with the pink (which is what my dtr is wanting)

I REALLY don't want to spend $22 on tights, that just seems foolish. Does anyone have this colorblock twirl dress? What kind of tights did you use? I'm contemplating just purchasing the solid pink & lilac one just for simplicity.

Also, I have already decided on the red velour twirl dress & fair isle tights for Christmas, but was wondering if I should get the blue velour twirl dress too + 1) cotton long sleeve dress, as opposed to (2) cotton LS twirl dresses & (1) velour. I've read where some say those velour dresses are wicked soft/comfy. WWYD? I need to hurry up and decide before the sale ends. I'm SO indecisive
