So, DD is obsessed with her crocs. To the point where she won't wear any other shoes (sometimes I can get her to wear her sneakers or boots, but mainly it's the crocs). The problem is that we're in Massachusetts and it's going to get very snowy and cold! She also won't wear socks (or tights) so I'm guessing there are some sensory issues. FWIW I don't like socks either so I can understand that!
I bought her the Mammoth crocs because she wore them last winter and I figured then she didn't have to wear socks and they would be similar to her summer crocs but she refuses to wear them. I did manage to get her to try them on (by bribery!) but that seems to have been a one-time thing.
Any suggestions? She really can't wear her summer crocs all winter long and that seems to be where we're heading right now. I might let her do that if she would wear socks with them but she won't.
I've thought of bringing her with me to look/buy something but she's a very young 2 1/2 and although I'm sure she'd pick something out in the store I'm no where near sure she'd actually wear them once we got home.
Any BTDT or suggestions?
