DD wants to be Kim Possible for Halloween. We picked up khaki cargo pants, a long-sleeved black t-shirt, black socks and black shoes. We need to figure out what to do to turn this outfit into Kim, though. Any suggestions?

Oh, man, we have a KP costume. DD2 would fit into it now, but we didn't think anyone would know who it was, since the show isn't on much anymore. Plus, she doesn't have the right hair. (DD1 does.) If yours doesn't, perhaps a red wig? The costume also comes with a belt that has a pocket (I guess for that device KP talked to Wayne on). My DD put a fake MP3 player in it, for effect. She also attached a rope to it, as a prop.

I saw some KP costumes on clearance online a few months ago and showed them to DD. She wanted to come up with her own thing, though, so now we're stuck!
And, um, you're right about not many people knowing about KP. She went to a costume bday party this past weekend and several kids asked why she wasn't in costume and an adult offered her Shrek ears so she'd have a costume!
A belt would help. I looked at Party City today and didn't see anything that would work. DD wants to get black gloves with the fingers cut off, too. Not sure where to find those!

DH's changed the text notification on his phone to that tone! The funny thing is that someone else in his office has the same tone! I'll have to see if we can find something that DD can use.

Yes, the black gloves. That was part of the costume. My DD had to wear black gloves with the finger tips cut off for dance last year, so maybe you could do that. If you can't find black gloves at a costume store, you could try a dance store.
The costume also says "Kim Possible" on it, I think on the sleeve. Maybe you can write KP somewhere.
Last year DD1 was Skippyjon Jones dressed as a pirate. People had trouble figuring that one out, but they could tell she had a costume, at least.
