Default Harry&David cancelled my order...now what?

I had ordered a fruit and chocolate gift basket from Harry and David for DH's grandparents. (We only see them every couple of years-want to send them something-but not invest a whole lot.) I got the baskets for like 75% off between their sale price and coupon codes....so of course, I got an email this AM saying they were no longer offering the baskets.

Anyone seen any deals on something similar. Doesn't have to be H&D. Can be all fruit...
    TIA

In the past, I have had good luck with Pittman Davis (but can't speak to any current deals).

Will you see them in person? If so, you might consider putting together a basket yourself with fruit, chocolates, whatever appeals to them. DH and I have done it in the past, and they turn out well. You can even buy that cellophan-y wrapping stuff to put around them. Of course, none of this helps you if you have to ship it...

Not food, but one of our standbys for dh's grandmother is amaryllis bulbs from White Fower Farm.

I have to ship it...so making my own basket is too much trouble.

I will have to look into the bulbs, haven't thought of that.

I emailed H&D and asked if they would honor the coupons I had on my original order if I were to place a replacement order....no response so far.

I would call Harry and David rather than email. They have great customer service!

We order a lot of gifts from Wolferman's. Their English muffins, english muffin bread, scones, kringle, jams, etc are very yummy. They have free shipping on every order until Dec 31st too
