Anyone not use the kitchen helper or learning tower -- wondering if there are any other options out there? Would dearly love to find something safe $50 or less -- I know CL is an option but so far no dice.

Have you done an ISO on CL yet? I would really try to find a LT. I got our first one for $40 and now that I know how much we love it I would totally pay full price.

I just could never give up that much kitchen space and just used sturdy kids chairs - so 7 years and no falls - I guess I lucked out
What about a stepstool with wider base - or do you want the sides?
We also just used a sturdy chair with both kids. They had to be steady on their feet before we allowed this, and always be supervised.
