    Default In-N-Out Burger

Planning to eat at In-N-Out Burger while in San Diego. I looked online at the menu and I'm confused. How do you order?

Inlaws are going to pick up In-N-Out for us the night we arrive (based on logistics of getting 5 kids fed and to bed!). So, we are giving them our order ahead of time so that hopefully all goes smoothly.

Do they have anything other than burgers (chicken fingers/grilled cheese)?

    Thumbs down

So freaking good!! I insisted we eat there when in Anaheim. DH thinks Five Guys is z better burger but I loved it. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. We ordered double double animal style. Here is a guide to help you- http://www.ehow.com/i/#article_2255321

No, they don't do anything but burgers, fries & shakes.

They do burgers VERY well. Their fries are the only fast food fries I'll allow my DD to eat. And their shakes are quite yummy.

DH gets the double-double (double meat, double cheese) animal style (simmered in mustard sauce); I like the double double with onions.

I like them MUCH better than 5 Guys.

So yummy! In-and-Out is one of the things we miss the most from CA.

I love the double protein style. They also have "veggie burgers", I think, that are actually grilled cheeses.

ETA the eHow article. Ohhhh, how I wish I were on the West Coast!

We have 5 Guys here and I went once and wasn't impressed so I'm hopeful about In-N-Out!

Hmmmm, not sure all the kids will eat burgers so I'll have to think about that.

    Found this: http://www.badmouth.net/in-n-outs-secret-menu/

    I am HUNGRY now!

For future reference, seems they do have grilled cheese.

In N Out offers burgers, fries, and shakes like the others have said. In N Out is very simplistic. I will say that if you order a grilled cheese it does come with lettuce, tomato, and sauce (1000 Island dressing type) so if you want plain grilled cheese you have to tell them plain. Same thing with the hamburgers you have to mention no sauce and in most cases they will ask you if you want mustard instead.

OK, I think I am going to order an animal style burger. That sounds good to me. And plain grilled cheese for DD. DH is on a Biggest Loser Diet for work (and doing great!) so he will have to decide how bad he wants to be that day!

I lurrrrve In n Out!. I believe their menu is very basic, just burgers, cheeseburgers, and fries.
