How do you feel about T-Strap shoes / sandals for little boys?

I think T-Strap style shoes & sandals are adorable for boys or girls, but I'm not sure how "acceptable" they are for boys in this country. I see a lot of european brands make this style for boys, so I am thinking they are more common/popular overseas.

What do you think? Do you like them? Would you think it was odd to see a little boy in shoes like these? Does the color make a difference?
