    Default Chocolate stains- aaargh!

I am pretty good at removing stains. Chocolate, however, has me completely baffled. I am finding a lot of contradictory information on the internet especially regarding water temperature. The most frustrating is the latest on the collar of DS's white shirt (choc icecream). I treated it within an hour of it staining and even after using a BLEACH pen on it, it is still there!!

Perhaps I just need to: buy all brown shirts for DS (or not let him eat chocolate).

I've actually banned chocolate ice cream unless my kids are eating it here at home, where I can immediately toss their shirts into the washing machine!

We had a major chocolate milk incident recently and I thought the shirt was a goner. Washing it didnt work. Since I figured I would be tossing it anyway, I soaked it in oxyclean for 48 hours. Then washed it. The shirt looks brand new and seems no worse for the experience.
