Default Glow Room for a Halloween party?

We were planning ds1's school's Fall Festival and looking up suggestions from other schools. One school we know has a glow room. No idea what it is or how it is created. Does anyone know? It sounds so cool!!

Don't know what it is, but I would assume it was a room with black lights.

That's what I figured too. Anything neon or white would glow in black light. There's a ton of stuff made to glow in black light.

you'll need a lot of black lights/blubls and lots of black butcher paper to cover all windows (and walls if you want). then as much neon or glow in the dark or white stuff as you can decorate with. you can get relatively inexpensive glow balloons and curling ribbon and a helium tank and fill the ceiling with balloons. you can get glow in the dark streamers and just hang them all over. you can get glow in the dark paint and splatter paint or make large wall stamps out of sponges and decorate the black butcher paper. you can even get glow in the dark bubble solution to put in a bubble maker.

neon facepaints glow in backlight too if you want to paint anyone who will be staffing the room. try picking up a neon rainbow cake over at sillyfarm.com.

Also, IIRC from college : regular Tide and regular highlighters also glow in blacklight.

I read somewhere that you can use laundry detergent as "paint" on the walls and it will glow under a blacklight.
