Default So when will we start watching amazon for christmas?

I've got to admit that with two birthdays in november and christmas immediatly following I've been looking but haven't been able to find and deals. Unfortunatly my "googlefoo" just isn't as good as others. Are there any good deals out there yet that i've missed. Is anyone watching yet?

The super crazy deals don't usually start till December. Do you check Slick Deals? They post deals daily and sometimes there are really good ones.

I start paying attention in December. Last year, the really good deals started rolling out the second week of December.

Last year Amazon had Black Friday deals starting the Monday of Thanksgiving week. These were lightning deals that popped up every hour or so with big markdowns on certain products. Some items sell out fast so you have to check it often. Last year these lightning deals were extended all the way to Christmas. We got quite a few gifts this way.

I've loaded a bunch of stuff in my cart and keep checking for price changes. But, the deals aren't until December, it seems.

You can also use camelcamelcamel.com to track Amazon pricing changes (since the prices fluctuate so often). It will give you the highest and lowest price for a particular item. I like to copy/paste the item number from the Amazon product page to search for the item so I know I'm looking at the same thing. You can set a price and it will email you once your item hits your desired price.
