DH on vacation in our home....

My DH is on vacation this week in our home with 3 other men. They are outdoormens and hunt in the nearby land. Some of them were here the last two weekend and some will be here in the next weekends to come. they are all here this week. I get so frustrated because of the dishes, mess, stuff all over the house. My DH tells me I don't have to pick up after anyone but its hard not to when its all over. What makes it more difficult is I started short term disability this week due to my pregnancy and now I'm stuck at home. I don't have anywhere to go while these guys are in and out. Maybe I should rent. A hotel for the week to save my sanity?

Wow, that DOES suck. I'd already be aggravated that my DH was on, "vacation," but for he and his buddies to make messes everywhere and you end up having to clean it up would aggravate me too. If you can swing a hotel, I'd do that. You need a vacation too!

Ugh. That doesn't sound right. I would be really bummed if DH wanted to spend his vacation time by inviting friends over!

I don't understand, are these other men using the house like a hotel?? I would insist that, if they want to use the house like a hotel, then they pay for someone to come in daily to cook and clean for them. You shouldn't have to live in mess because his friends want to save a buck or two.

Boy does he owe you big. Whether or not you pick up after those guys.

I'd look into either a hotel for you, or a daily cleaning service for the house. Have them all chip in for it.
