    Default Mother pucker....LICE!

Here we go....think good thoughts! Dds are so upset with their bare rooms. Stuffed animals are in bags in the basements. Of course I just changed the sheets on all the beds and now I will have to strip them all off, vacuum the mattresses and wash wash wash.
    I hate you lice!!!!!!

This is a nightmare. Half my house is in plastic bags in my basement and I can't even walk into my laundry room. I'm so overwhelmed.....i just want to cry.

Sorry for laughing, but I just LOL at the title for your post.

Hope it gets under control ASAP! Sounds like a nightmare.

I feel your pain. This is going to be known as the lice fall in our household.

So much effort for so little.

You donot need to wash sheets and bag the animals and so on to get rid of lice. Lice only jump from head to head. They can't live on inanimate objects for long. So all the washing and vaccuuming is not really helpful but if its for the ick factor, then I understand.

You hear different things about this - but the newer articles tend to say that the stuffed animal part is unnecessary, but the bedding or just pillowcases should be washed in hot.

70-98 degrees, low humidity, they can live 9-11 hours. High humidity, 10-14. But under 60 degrees they can actually survive 40 hours.

The bagging of objects came from the theory that lice is transmitted by inanimate objects, but there is little scientific evidence that this is the case. (http://www.benthamscience.com/open/t...ODJ/72TODJ.pdf)

Can you tell I've been grappling with this issue too much?
