In our house he would be
    where we keep the luggage
    in my closet
where we keep the winter/summer clothes
    in the office
in a dresser drawer in the guest room

    Hope you find him!

As soon as you buy and open and set out that 2nd elf, you know what will happen.

Your kids will find the first elf and then you will have to explain why there are two elves. There is a law.

Oh I would be so screwed if we lost our "Buddy" The only place I know to get the dark skinned elf is online so he would have to be on an extended holiday.

I had the same problem last year. I finally found Fiddle at the back of my underwear drawer, where I had hastily stashed him on Christmas morning the year before. I guess I should clean out that drawer more often, huh? After Christmas last year, I packed him in the boxes with fall decorations so that I would uncover him early and wouldn't be frantic again.
