I love drinking green tea in Japanese restaurants, but haven't been able to replicate that flavor at home with grocery store tea bags. Can you recommend your brand of green tea, if it tastes "restaurant style"?

the tea that we like at Japanese restaurants are actually green tea and brown rice tea. called genmaicha. the tea bags that we like are by Yama. the ones at restaurants are loose.

The closest to restaurant style I have been able to find is Twinings Jasmine Green Tea. I don't know if Twinings is sold in the USA? (I'm in Canada)
The temperature you brew at affects green tea too, although I'm not sure what technique the restaurants use. I buy loose green tea and the woman I purchase from is always fanatical about making sure you are using the right temperature for steeping.

I really like FooJoy green tea. I buy it at asian markets.
