    Default OAMC Family Favorites book

I got the Once a Month Cooking Family Favorites book from the library and am going to try some of the recipes and then do the OAMC with those that we like.

I have a question on one of the recipes. It's for Lemon Chicken. It says:

"Mix all ingredients and place in a 1-gallon freezer bag, label, and freeze.

To serve, place in microwave-safe dish and cook in microwave on high power for 5 minutes. Baste the chicken with the juices, turn, and microwave for 3 more minutes."

Will 8 minutes in the microwave really cook frozen chicken? I've never heard of cooking chicken in the microwave at all. Sometimes, I use the microwave to thaw chicken and it takes much longer than 8 minutes total, but is not on high, either. All the other recipes I've read specifically mention thawing the dish, so that's why I'm assuming this one starts with frozen.

i just got up to read my book, and I honestly have no idea. Most likely, I thawed it and baked it instead.
