Did you guys use the spike seasoning that she listed in her recipe? I have looked at THREE major grocery stores and NONE of them carry that seasoning. I am wondering how it will taste if I just use some all purpose type of seasoning instead.

In fact, we used salt and pepper and they were just absolutely delicious. So, no canned seasoning at all.

Hats off to Anamika for sharing such a fantastic recipe.

Me too! They look like they'd be much less messy for my toddler too!

I would just use salt and pepper .... Spike has MSG in it (or at least it used to).

Thanks! I just have an all purpose type of seasoning I will try. I'm excited to see how these turn out. I found the cutest silicone heart muffin pans on clearance after valentine's day, and am dying to try them out with this recipe.

I make them in silicone muffin cups (Wilton brand from BB&B). The egg muffins just slide right out!
We like chopped up ham, bacon, or sausage, and some cheese in them too. Yumm!

Thanks Anamika for the recipe. I made them this morning with ham, broccoli and cheese - very easy, quick and yummy!

I wanted to update. I made these using some Penzey's Sunny Paris seasoning and they came out awesome! As I was baking them, my DH kept saying over and over again, "that smells so good!" I added in little pieces of kale and bacon. It was yummy! I'll probably make another batch some time this wk. Needless to say, I am now also a fan of Penzey's, lol.
