Default Cake pops and freezer question

Can I make the cake pops (not dipped) and keel them frozen indefinitely until ready to dip? I am thinking of making the decorating aspect part of DD2's bday party activities. Can I make ahead, freeze, then dip a week later? I would be using the plug in cake pop maker from the Kohls deal, not the pops where you mix the cooked cake with frosting to make the balls.

    Thanks!

I think you should be fine, as long as you make sure they're airtight in the freezer. I've done it frequently with the non-cakepop maker cake balls, and I also frequently bake full cakes a few days to a week in advance and freeze. Both turn out great. My recommendation is just to make sure that you let them defrost before you dip them -- otherwise, you'll end up with condensation on the outside of your chocolate layer.
