Default what pan for cooking eggs??

I am looking for recs for a small frying pan to cook scrambled eggs and fried eggs in. I do not want non-stick. I have cast iron, which I love, but my skillet is huge. Wasn't sure if I should just get another smaller cast iron skillet or if there is a better alternative. Thanks for your suggestions!!

My favorite for eggs is an 8" stainless steel. I heat on medium, melt a small dollop of coconut oil or butter in it, pour in eggs, turn down heat a tad, and cook. They slide right out just as easily as with a non-stick pan.

I was pretty happy with my stainless steel pan for eggs but when I finally got a larger cast iron skillet (my old one is REALLY small) I started using that for eggs and just love it. If I were you, I'd just get a smaller sized cast iron for eggs. I wish I had gotten the second cast iron a long time ago ~ I use them both a lot.

I've heard amazing things about carbon steel pans for eggs but I haven't gotten one yet, I'm still using our non-stick pans, though mine are non-teflon.

I just switched to a 12" cast enamel frying pan for almost everything, including eggs. At first I thought I'd like a smaller pan, but I finally got this pan under control and cook one egg in it fine now. I would say get a small cast iron!

I use a small (8") cast iron. No clue as to brand, since it's a hand-me down, but it works great, & adds a bit of iron into my kiddos, who both have low iron levels, anyway.

Yes, I have a 6 1/2 inch cast iron skillet that is my "go to" egg pan. 1-2 eggs easy. I think I got it at a thrift store when I was in college. Lodge does sell that size.
