    Interesting!

I just got a Ninja blender earlier this week as well. Their website has quite a few good looking recipes. So far I've just been eyeballing it. I tend to make too much. But I just save it for later.

For whatever strawberry recipe you follow, try adding half an avocado. Sounds unappetizing but it disappears and ends up thickening the shake and making it creamier.

I have started adding whey protein also to up the protein content. I feel stuffed after a glass!

This is what I put in our smoothies:

    1. Frz strawberries
    2. Frz chopped spinach
    3. Hemp Protein Powder
    4. Wheat Germ or Oat Bran
    5. Ground Flax Seed
    6. Almond Milk

It blends up nicely and I don't usually add other sweeteners .

I do a cup of yogurt, a handful of frozen strawberries, a scoop of whey protein, and maybe some ice and non-fat milk if it's too thick. I often add a half a banana as well.

I know some also add a little peanut butter or the like to add protein as well.

Where do I buy powder protein/whey protein? Does it have a taste to it?
