Default What's your "go to" dessert?

We're going to a friend's for dinner tonight. I can't decide what I want to take. Probably because I have an insane sweet tooth and want to take EVERYTHING!

So what's your favorite to make for others at home or when going somewhere?

Hot milk cake, extra yummy served with berries, ice cream and or whipped cream. Easy and apparently unusual as everyone always asks me what it is, how to make it, etc.

ETA. Here's a link to a recipe I have successfully used: http://www.tasteofhome.com/Recipes/Hot-Milk-Cake. (I actually did cupcakes with this most recently.)

OH MY! This is amazing cake!!!! They were delicious!

I made them, then right before putting them in the cupcake pan, I split the batter in half and added 1 tsp of lemon extract to half of the batter.

Both were delicious! I will definitely make again! Thanks again for the recommendation.
