Default Amazing story on orchestra in the Congo

I don't usually post stuff like this, but this made me cry some happy tears. The love of music for these people who are living in the poorest country on earth, surrounded by war, is nothing short of amazing.

wow. I'm crying here. I was born in Congo and lived in Kinshasa for 5/6 years of the 11 years we lived in Congo. Amazing. The music in Congo is always awesome-church was always a lot of singing from groups etc but this was amazing. Thanks for sharing!

We literally just bought a piano so DS and I could start lessons this summer, and I had him watch some of it with me, showing him how these people who have very little will work so hard and travel long distances to learn to play. I'm hoping it inspires him as much as it does me.
