Default Kids Bedroom, girl/boy- opinions needed!

We are finally moving the two kids 2 3/4 yo boy and 14 mo girl to the bigger room. We really need to decide on a carpet and paint color by tomorrow, because I must return the carpet swatches.
I thought I had an idea in my head, but now looking at the colors and carpets- they just don't jive!
I'll tell you what my vague thought was, a tweedy looking carpet with flecks of orange/green in it and could have other colors too, not too light, but not too dark. I have white furniture, though I think natural will look better, they have all this from the nursery and I don't feel like buying a new crib/toddler bed and dresser! So.... and I was thinking, but didn't decide, if I should go with orange and green walls, orange walls green molding, green walls orange molding, orange OR green with white molding and the other color as accent decor.
These are links I picked up while browsing the web- please let me know what you think and all opinions welcome- we are in a time crunch!
    Thank you!

Since you have white furniture, I think the moulding should be white (that'll tie it all in.) Either green or orange walls, then use the other color in some accent pieces. Using both green & orange on the walls seems like you're trying too hard in my opinion.

P.S. Love all the pics - what a cute room they'll have!

I'll post pics when the room is put together, but it's finally painted and carpeted!

Not quite what I was thinking though... I'm okay with it, but it definitely will take some time getting used to it. We ended up with a greenish/blue (more green than blue) called "Indian Ocean" by Behr, a bit darker than expected but a nice color. The carpet I was going to go with a medium to light grey, but I saw swatch of s/t else at the carpet store that we liked so went with that instead. HOWEVER it ended up being much more purple than the originally though greyish/blue... So, in certain lights it looks actually purple... Not so very nice... But, we hope that with the furniture in and stuff on the walls, it'll all come together better and look nice.

Truth is, the kids are just excited to get a new room!

That's so exciting. I'm sure the sum of the parts will look all put together!

In my opinion you could use white as the base color for the room & add orange, blue, pink for shade. then use the other color in some accent pieces. In my opinion using multiple color wall creates fun environment for kids
