    Default Alternative Upholstered Rocker

We are looking for a comfortable chair to use in DS's room to read stories at night. Eventually when #2 comes along, it would go in the nursery. I love the Land of Nod and PBK upholstered rockers, but hate the price. Is there a cheaper alternative?

Craiglist can be a good option to find something similar inexpensively.

We use an old Lazy boy with a washable blanket on it in our baby's room. We bought a pair similar to these for our living room. We waited until they did a BOGO sale so we could get the custom fabric we wanted at a cheap price since we were buying two.

Try a local furniture store. They may have options that would work as well.

I have a Little Castle glider/recliner that I bought from a baby store that was discontinuing the line. I paid $475 (including tax) for it and I love the chair. If it was new it would have been about $800 to $900. I was initially going to get an Enchanted glider/recliner from Wal Mart because they are made by Little Castle and just went to the store to choose the fabric. I would highly recommend the Little Castle/Enchanted brand as my chair is well made, easy to clean, and has gotten lots of use in the last 2 yrs. .

I got a really nice dutailer glider and ottoman on Craigslist for a steal. That's exactly the kind of thing CL is best for. I stalked it for awhile till I found what I wanted.

For those of you that have the Best Chairs, do you find that the back is tall enough. That seems to be the biggest complaints in reviews. DH and I are almost 6 ft tall.
