Gift for Parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary??

My parents' 50th wedding anniversary is coming up. It is such a special occasion, and I would love to give them a wonderful gift.

They do not like traveling, so a cruise or other trip is out. And they are not much into eating out, so I cannot go that route either.

I have 3 siblings, and we could do a group gift on a more expensive item. Or, I may do something smaller on my own.

If anyone has been down this road and has ideas, I would love to hear them!! Hoping for a new perspective, since I just keep coming up blank!

What an amazing milestone! I would do a photo book and start from when they were born to the present. It would be a huge undertaking but what a treasure.

My parents wedding album was falling apart, so I scanned each photo and made them a new album through shutterfly. They both loved that.

Infomama also had a great idea on how to do a photo book for them.

I emailed all my parents' friends and family and had them email/mail me tributes/toasts/stories/pictures...whatever they wanted and turned it into a book for them. They were away from all their friends to visit us, otherwise they'd have likely had a party for their 50th (but it's dec. 20 and too close to xmas!)
